Dactyl Cygnus

I make fully custom Dactyl split keyboards, built to order and made by hand.

Everything is configurable: layout and size, color, surface texture, finish or clear coat, switches, and keycaps. Each keyboard is made specifically for the buyer.

The cases are not raw 3D prints. Every case goes through a full finishing process: sanding, filler primer, and coating. This removes visible print lines and gives a clean, uniform surface that feels intentional and finished, not "3D printed."

Each keyboard is hand-wired, assembled, and tested individually. The price reflects the time required for the full process, including customization, finishing, and manual wiring.

The €400/€450 price is for a base wired/wireless keyboard build. Switches and keycaps are not included, and premium options may affect the final price. The configuration shown in the images adds €50.

*The keyboard shown in the photos has a textured painted finish. This texture is optional - the case can also be finished completely smooth if you prefer (last picture). All finishes, colors, and surface treatments are customizable.
